Issues after CAI install

I recently changed up my intake from CAI to SRI because the mounting bracket on my pipe broke and i had to have it welded. After i got it fixed and changed it back to CAI i unhooked the negative battery cable as i have always been told to do to reset ecu. Now the car sputters really bad on take off, idles rough and cuts out while in half to full throttle. Any helpfull comments would muchly be appreciated.

sometimes the ecu just nees time to "reteach" its self.

i find this happening alot with my turbo setup.

how long has it been doin it since you unplugged the bat last?

just let the ecu take into account the change you made.

ok, well this is what i thought too, but it has never acted that rough after reseting the ecu. After i reset it i took it around the block about three seperate times and still runs the same. Im not sure how long it takes to relearn.

Ok, its been three days and the car is still cutting out in full throttle and still sputtering really bad in low rpms. I dont know if its a fuel problem maybe, does anyone know if the 03 0z has an inline fuel filter, i havent been able to get a service manual yet. I dont think haynes or chilton has released one yet or if they are going to and i heard the one from the dealer are extremely pricey. I f anyone has any thoughts it would be very appreciated, at this point i very openminded to any opinions.

Reset the ECU and give it time to relearn (meaning idle it for 10 minutes then take it for a drive).
