Sunroof Seal Cracking?

Has anyone ever heard of this? Not the rubber gasket that's attached to the body, but the seal i think it is around the actual glass part. It caught my eye today.Around the edges of the entire roof its cracked and or chipping? Any thoughts? Is it warrantied?

A picture would help but I'm thinking that body flex would cause glass chipping. I'm not sure though.

Get it to the dealer asap. You dont want it to keep getting worse and then trying to get it fixed without a warranty.

If you didnt cause this problem then why should you have to pay to get it repaired.

and see how its the actual sunroof part and not the seal around it. The cracking/chipping goes all the way around the sunroof.

That's crazy. I have not heard of our Lancers doing that. Might just be a faulty pain of glass. I would definitely take that back to the dealer, they should fix that. And if not, raise hell lol.

Covered! they are specially ordering it, so not sure when it will be in.... They say it will only take an hour or two to replace the whole sunroof. I would have brought my "grocery list: with, but didn't feel like waiting to long...... Since it will take 2 hour, think i should/could get a courtesy car? or...

That's pretty cool then. Maybe they will.

My dealership definitely doesn't offer that kind of service.
