Spoiler Rattling Due To Subs

I recently put 2 12" Polk Audio Subs in my trunk. They sound great, but beyond a certain level, my spoiler starts to rattle. Or at least it sounds like the spoiler and that would make sense to me.

My license plate frame also will occasionally make some noise, but not as loud or as annoying as the spoiler.

Any way to fix the rattle (cheaply)?

EDIT: Spoiler doesn't rattle. The plastic piece between the back seat and the rear window rattles against the window. I found that if I hold it down...no rattling at all in the car. So that's some good news. See the new image below.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

FatMat on the lid. and make sure the spoiler is not coming loose, check the bolts/nuts holding it on

The spoiler is held on by 4 small bolts. They are currently very tightly secured. I was thinking I could take the spoiler off, and put a thin/small rubber mat between where the trunk and spoiler connect. I have seen such rubber mats at walmart for about $1 or so...

Oh and if it matters, it's a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer DE.

This is probably a better solution since I've had FatMat before (lined the whole trunk in my mustang) and it hardly made a difference. FatMat isn't dense enough to absorb or block any vibrations.

Well, I only hear rattling from the trunk area. I know for fact the license plate frame rattles a little, you can see it and hear it.

I'm pretty sure the only other thing rattling is the spoiler. Everything else is pretty solid.

Spoiler isn't making noise. It is 100% secure.

Found the source of the rattle though, and it is the plastic between the back seat and the rear windshield. I have a picture as an example:

(I could use any and all suggestions)

This area is already known to rattle. I saw a youtube video showing how to get to it for the sole purpose of deadening that deck.

i had the same problem. Wal-mart has this stuff called polyfill mat (I think) and it comes in big squares of about 16" x 16" and about 1" thick. I took off that plastic deck lid, cut the polyfill mat to fit, and put the mat between the plastic piece and metal deck. I did pull the mat in half to make it less thick though, so it would fit better. then what you can do is get some weather stripping and put it on that rear upper edge of the deck lid, the part that touches the glass. you might have to glue it on though. it didnt stick at all when i tried just sticking it on because of the surface finish of the plastic lid. good luck

Thanks guys. A lot of helpful info. After fixing the rear deck rattle, I figured out there is something metal on metal making noise still. Almost thought it was my license plate but it isn't. It seems to be coming from the rear under-body though.
