rattling/scraping sound at 2k rpm?

rattling/scraping sound at 2k rpm?
Every time i drive, whenever the car reaches 2000rpm or sometimes 4000rpm i get this nasty scraping sound coming from the engine bay. It sound like the driver side of the engine. Im very confused because its only happening at 2000rpm. Anyone have any idea what it is?

could be a million things. Is it when driving, in certain gears, does it do it at a standstill in neutral? Clutch engaged or released? A/C on/off? Accelerating/Coasting? Hard/soft driving? See how many factors equate into this?
You most likely will have to get a mechanic to look at it for it to be properly diagnosed, you wouldn't get a doctors diagnosis over the internet would you?
