I have an 09 Lancer with the sun 'n sound. A couple weeks ago, I was readying for a long drive when I started smelling something electrical burning. The smell didn't last very long and shortly after I discovered that there was no sound coming from the speakers or the unit when navigating through the menus. I was thinking it's just the amp that burnt out, but to be honest I don't know really.

How could I be able to tell what it was that burnt out?

If it is the amp, how difficult is it to just swap them out? I'm more of a computer guy than a car guy!
