Remote start and cruise control stopped working

Hi there,

I've searched around quite a bit and haven't found any solutions to the problem I'm having. I have an arctic start remote starter and security system installed in my car. It has been in there since I bought the car used and I have not had any issues with it until recently, but now the remote start function and the cruise control has stopped working at the same time. I have checked all my fuses and they are all good, the hood and brake sensors are connected properly. When I press and hold the button to start it it beeps telling me it sent the command and I can hear the car begin to start for about a second and then just shuts off. I have pressed the tach reset button and it beeped once which I've been told is what it is supposed to do when your press it. I hvae also tried another brand new module and it had the same problem. With the cruise control I can press the button on the know to turn it on and off and the light responds to it, but when I go to set it nothing happens. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing these issues? any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Is this an automatic or manual transmission?

Not sure about the auto start. For the cruise control, I would check to make sure the piping to the unit is ok. You will find it mounted to the left side up and to the left of the power steering pump.
