My clutch bearing chattars like hell when the car is hot.. I went to the dealer (1900 miles) he said that mistubishi said it's normal... I find that hard to believe.. I mean am I supposed to accept the car sounding like a lawn mower? anyone with this problem?

The noise goes away when I slip the clutch.. it sounds like a bad bearing to me...

I only have 4200 miles no problems yet with clutch bearing. I agree I wound"nt believe that ****. If they don't do anything for you I would get it in writing date of problem and mileage and have them sign it. This way you have proof if needed. (They should have no problem doing that for you if in fact that the truth??????

I am doing that.. however I don't want that noise.. its horrible.. I mean it is loud... so I will hope for the best.. problem is I have to replace the test pipe everytime I go there.. it's a pain in the ***... Maybe I'll just replae the all thing when RRM comes out with the racing clutch they are working on...

They tried to tell me the same thing. I wouldn't accept that and had the manager come out and yelled at him for awhile. I told them i knew for a fact it was the throw-out bearings becaue when you engaged the clutch it went away. They ordered the whole clutch assembly. Dumbasses. Tooke them an extra 4 days after all that b/c guess what they had to order and replace the throw-out bearings. I rule over Mitsu.
