Hey, just a quick question and Im not trying to cause trouble. Did you guys ever fix the fitment of your exhaust, because I heard people were burning their back bumpers cuz the pipe was too close to the rear valence. Just thought Id ask.

It was a dealer install issue. If I remember correctly that's part of the reason RMR began to sell directly. Honestly, with all 3 hangers fitment should be simple for anyone who can get under their car and turn a wrench. Removing the stock muffler section is easier than installing an intake.

We made our exhaust easier to install (if that’s possible) after we saw some dealers screwing it up. Since then (3 months ago) we haven't had any more install problems. The exhaust is "axle" back like RRM's or anyone else’s. To be honest, I would like to see a reparable company make a "full" exhaust make more power. We lost power when we made it.

thats what i've heard. I remove my 2nd cat to free up my axle-back apexi custom jobbie but left the resonator on so as to not sound like a 2-stroke lawnmower. I undrstand this to be the best balance of free flow and necessary backpressure.

Not to take this off topic, but I've experienced no power loss with my cat-back. That may be because I have an intake and bored throttle body, but I don't think that should make such a huge difference. Without breathing mods though widening the entire exhaust COULD definitely potentially cause power loss like Blair said.
Dyno with intake even showed slight gains from just intake and exhaust in Import Tuner's article for what it's worth. This is with both stock cats (the current source of most of my backflow) and with the "offroad downpipe" there were gains as well (leaving only the second cat in place). I don't know exactly the process you guys have gone through nor would I pretend to, but it seems like it is possible not to lose power when replacing the exhaust.
