This is a really good deal, people. I have a Catz HID hi/lo kit on my Legacy for which I paid $615 (no shipping charge cuz it was local). It has never failed and looks awesome. $640 shipped is a deal. I would get them but no money right this second...

They are made for reflector headlights. They are basically a long ballast that you replace your short stock bulb "plug in" with.

I can order these for you but the group buy didn't go through as too many people backed out. I can order for $599 the rising white plus $25 shipping.

DOT Approved??

DRC Imports,

Are you sure CATZ HID is DOT approved??? Last I heard, CATZ got a DOT legal warning to "Seize" all sales of CATZ HID kits in the US. Has this problem been cleared up??? Love to see these on the market again.

Please advise (and provide link to Catz site) so I can see for myself that CATZ is really DOT approved. On of the reason I have not upgraded is becuase of the local this as my local cops will stop anyone with HID... a few friends have gotten fixer tickets to remove their HID.

Thanks

Apeman

Leave it to the newbies to revive a year old thread. I thought DCR was having problems anyways, like he got screwed by a business partner or something. Might as well start some new conversation now that the thread is back up. Great first post btw.

Yeah, if you look at DRC Imports' post history, you'll find he hasn't been here in a long time. It's a shame too, because he was a great vendor who just didn't have the resources to absorb some bad deals. I doubt he'll be back again though as he ended up displeasing a lot of people when he left, albeit apologetically.
