Yes we cannot have ECU flashed for the infinite number of variations people will have so it will be for our turbo setup.

Will dyno when a we get opportunity. As for reprogramming at maintainance time, I doubt that anyone would lose their program. If so no one would be doing that, including EVO guys.

Oh, btw...it says the flash is for ES/LS/OZ in the title, but since LS is only AT that may be a bit misleading.

Currently working on re-flash for auto's. Will take some time as there is a lot more involved. There is no way mitsubishi will be able to reprogram ecu unless they take it out and replace with new. They will not be able to check program and all factory trouble codes are still logged normally. During maintenance when the delete these codes there is no effect on the mapping of the ecu. This area of the ecu is completly different and they access that through service port under dash. Thus they can't even access the maps there anyway. All they can get is trouble codes and sensor info. Nothing they can do to hurt/detect/erase computer flash. Hope this settles this are of doubt. Thanks for the inputs guys. Keep asking ???'s as many people have them. We will answer them all honostly.

There is nothing to mess up... just unplug old and plug in new. If you force the plugs or pull the wires out of harness then there will be problems. Just be gentle this is an easy thing to do. If you take it to somebody i'd pay maybe 30-50 bucks for install. Its just to simple to do!

Good news. Worked on ECUs today and fine tuned fuel maps and timing. Must admit, it is very impressive. Both turbo maps and NA are ready. Just waiting for cores to arrive so that we can officially debut them.

If you turbo, it would be best to eventually get the turbo reflash, but don't hesitate to get the NA reflash now, because I believe Rob is planning on having a program to swap NA for turbo at a small fee in the future. My suggestion, get the NA for now, and worry about the turbo setup when it's time to get a turbo.
