6500 is safe and been tested! RRM wouldn't release it like that if it wasn't. Also rods don't need to worry about as they are still well under max rod:stroke ratio. All that means is there is a calculated max rpm for rods using the stroke and the rod length. These maxes are used all over for calculating max rpm and we are not near the max yet. RRM won't go close as they want NO reliability issues to arrise. Even the stock springs and cam have been tested higher but the extra 500 rpms is enough. That extra rpm with the right toon could mean .500 seconds off the 1/4 mile.

I'm not for sure about that i never looked at how many more mph there was in 2nd...03lancer could answer that i'll ask tommorrow at dyno or maybe he'll see this and post. I do know that you can get 3rd over 90mph as i did that. For the NA car that should mean you'll be right at 1/4 finish or damn close before hitting fourth if even get into 4th at all for 1/4 now!

Guys, guys, guys. Unless the ECU reprograms the rev limiter, you can still only go to 59 mph in second. But that's not of importance if you ask me, because there is no race to 60 mph, as long as you shift at the right shift point, your 1/4 mile and road race and even autocross will be much faster with the better fuel curve this ecu provides. Boe, do you know if the rev limiter is changed by the reflash???

Still working on that... have to get some other things worked out. There is so much going on at RRM that we havn't had a chance to tune the auto motor yet. We'll get it though no worries!

Notice how much higher the tq levels are across the board?? Also the hp climbs faster than stock ecu even with all the na mods. My old dyno even with header wasn't this good and so well balanced. Air fuel ratios are very good as well. Again my hat off to RRM!!

Interesting, but a baseline would have been nice. Still, it seems most users can expect around 10 to 15 whp. Might be worth a purchase after all.

wow, are those numbers at the wheels?! Way to go! Just for comparison, did you do a dyno sheet without the ECU as well?

That's not to shabby considering Import Tuner pulled a 103 base HP number. I was hoping for slightly more but it wasn't like the car tested was oozing with mods. A header and cam coupled with the reflash could certainly make this car scream.

The dyno numbers are at the wheels. Remember he still has a cat on there and is a california car... theres a difference!

On CA cars the hp is about 98whp and tq is about 107 due to timing and fuel setups for 91 Octane. Not much off of Bushers 103whp/110wtq but enough i'd say to show the difference in ecu's!

If you add the 15% for tranny loss then he's pushing 146hp/138tq but his torque band is now hella high and stays high till high RPM's.

Even with headers and port/polish when i was NA i couldn't get those numbers... i put out 115whp and 117wtq. The ecu is a monster and will be even better with the header i gaurantee that. Still without it there is still no doubt that the car is sweeeeetttt!!

Figure 12-15 h.p. but important part is the torque increase.
Thanks to Boe for heading up this project along with O3. I have been way too busy to do the leg work, just set the goals and tuning ideas.

Auto will be done as soon as we can. I know there are a lot of you out there so we won't ignore you but we are busy as F#%k. And you guys yell at us when you do not get a box like "yESTERDAY!"

So we gotta concentrate on that stuff first.

Around 140 flywheel horsies or so. Boe mentioned it above.
