just to be sure... any bolt on turbo for the evo IX would fit there? I'm waiting one FPGreen (used from a friend), I don 't know if it fits on this manifold...

The turbo will bolt up to the manifold, but the turbo will run into the water pipe. If we moved the manifold out to accomodate the larger compressor housings, then there would be fitment issues with the radiator and DP etc. You can use the Evo 8 turbo with the 10.5 housing. I don't think there's any way of getting around that damn water pipe.

It's hard to tell with the pictures you posted, but can the stock fans stay where they are (on the inside, or do you have to take them out and put slim fan(s) on the outside of the radiator?

You can keep the A/C fan where it is but you will need a slim fan and move it to the front of the radiator. It will have to be a push style fan or one you can reverse polarity on if needed.
