yah thats what I thought, too. They used a methanol water injection that cools down the engine bay exremely fast I think, and maybe ripp is on its way making stage 3 with an intercooler. Meaning you could possibly boost at higher levels, but with their cooling system, if you can boost between 9 to 11psi than thats a really good setup. I don't think RRM non ic turbo can boost that high nor the RRM ic turbo can boost that high, unless they have upgraded their stock internals.

for stage 2...the methanol injection works a lot better because...the intercooler for the rrm turbo over heats as it was stated in the forums...the meth injection is perfect and many other set ups they use the meth spray for there intercooled turbo...

Ripp

I saw RIPP at engishtown a few weeks back and they really seemed to have there things together. They have a resident engineer and the owner has 2 degrees in engineering. There kits are well thought out and tested. They have the customer support from all the 3g kits theve sold. N who sells F.I. kits with a warranty.... nonnee besids ripp. If u want the job done right go with RIPP.

Intercooled Stage 2 for RRM doesn't require internal mods... it boosts 9 psi and puts down 230+whp and 240+wtq. All you guys that keep making statements not knowing the right answers really need to back off...

WTF is an overheated intercooler??? NEVER heard of such a thing... personally i'm running 10-11 psi with stock rods and je pistons. If you'd like i'll post my dyno but not here... for the record i'm putting out 248whp and 268wtq though!

RIPP's products are backed well by them and talking good about them is great but if your going to talk bad about a vendor you better have the facts/proof to back them up. Hell RIPP has yet to post an actual dyno when EVERY customer was asking for it... WHO DID?? HMMMMMMM!!!

also...if you read this thread...there was a post where sumone posted a picture with the dyno numbers on stage 1.

noone is fighting...rippmods is just giving a option to customers who are thinking about FI...

Well first off, you might as well part out that intake on the private/for sale forum because RIPP replaces it with thier kit. Cat back wont really do anything for ya so I wouldnt go over 11 PSI. RIPP said they had some problems boosting at 11 PSI so they dropped to 9 PSI and upgrade injectors. If your gonna boost anymore then 11 PSI, then I'd upgrade Pistons, and rods atleast. Then I'd try for 13 - 15.
