I think the Miata takes it. Looks like a fun to drive car, that can easily be driven every day, beat the shat out of, and still come back for more. I like it.

the Aveo is actually a good choice...with the rebates and everything you can pick one up for around 7k out the door...not bad for a brand NEW car.

Not that I'm a fan of the bowtie {chevy} or anything!

the Aveo is actually a Daewoo. When they first went on sale earlier this year Chevy actually sent a message to all dealerships to immediately stop sales of this car because they were having so many problems with them. After a few weeks I think they started selling them again but not sure how they addressed the issues (or even if they addressed them at all). I'd still shy away from Korean makes other than a Hyundai right now personally.

I'd agree with Lowj. A 2 year old Corolla will be more reliable than an Aveo. Of course if you're willing to have your car at the dealer all the time, you've got a warranty.

buy a corolla, i have a 92 with 198k miles on it and it still runs. Drips maybe a drop of oil every now and then but I havent been the best when it comes to maintaining her (family car since 92, handy down). So ill votch for corolla, my sister has a 97 accord with the 4 banger and gawd them things are slow. If you get an accord get it with a v6 because the weight will kill the 4banger.
