no, but I want to........I love Mazda's and would kill for an RX-8 if it weren't so underpowered. If they boosted that puppy up to at least around the 250hp range I'd be down.

250HP? That's 12HP more than stock, and what they originally planned before realizing they may have emissions issues. The Mazdaspeed bits seem to accomplish it. And that carbon-fiber flywheel apparently makes it absurdly rev happy.
A supercharged RX-8 could exceed 300HP I'm sure, and get some of the torque it needs to get rolling.

sorry, I meant at the wheels. I guess that would work out to a HP rating of at least 275 at the crank. I'm just saying 250hp at the wheels would be the minimum needed to make me look seriously at that car over a 350Z in that price range. I'm partial to Mazda handling so if they juiced it near the 350Z HP I'd be a happy man.
