EVO 8 BUSHUR STAGE1 VS SRT4 stock
LOL my friend has a nice red 2004 SRT4 i give him props for havin the car but he is still hung on the fact that he claims he can beat me off the ROLL ??? can someone tell him that is virutally impossible ??? and he also claims that his car is the ONLY car that is rated In FRONT WHEEL HP so he claims his car has 230 FWHP STOCK is that true or not i have no clue about his car i have driven in it. It is a nice car and all but i would l freekin would KILL HIM IN MY EVO no chance at all can someone let me know what you think about this situation and him claiming his car has 230-235 WHP STOCK

are they 230 at the wheel stock ? and i mean i have a BUSCHUR stage 1 I know they are fast cars and i give him props i kinda like it too, but Him on the other hand, all it is to him is the SRT4 SRT4 SRT4 he sayin that $4000 can get him into 11's why do people bother with the EVO's then since the SRT4 is sooo damn easy to hook up and its fast ? i bought an evo myself couse i had no DOUBT in my mind that it is a better car and it is the best peformance car for the money u can buy

what is a bushcur stage one?
lol, don't get me started on srt-4's , they are supposedly my car's(350z) "arch enemy", granted yes they are fast and run stock close times to the 350z, but stock vs stock i've gotta say the evo wins, from off the line, launching an awd is faster than launching fwd, and i'd have to say that 230whp is probably overrated although some srt-4s have dyno'd that but on mustang dynos..... they run low to high 14s, so you've got the edge, i'm on the evos side cause i'm getting one in december = )

To the original poster: You have stage 1, which i am assuming is exhaust/mbc/fuel management of sorts? so you're at about 280-300whp (and maybe more )
you'd def take him pretty hard from all aspects (probably even reverse too). I wouldnt worry about a stock srt vs a modified evo.

from a roll stock for stock...evo will loose...evo isnt geared to win from a roll...from a dig you would kill the car in the 1/4...what are you dynoing at with the stage one?...

Kuba, do some searches. The SRT-4 is easy to make fast with low $$$. Respect the SRT-4. If I wasn't able to afford an EVO, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase an SRT-4.
The Evo is a much better "total" package but it should be for $10K more. Our biggest advantages are AWD and superior handling.
If you haven't driven an SRT-4, you should. It's a fun, fast ride.

A stage 1 kit can get you high 12's @105-108mph. If its the full stage 1 with AFC or Flash it will destroy a stock srt-4 from a dead stop and from a roll.

Oh no dont get me wrong the SRT4 i have all great respect for the car i wouldnt mind gettin one if the EVO wouldnt be here but come on i am prolly somewhere in the 280-300 whp and his car is stock and he keeps on arguing that his car would with from the roll with me i mean i think realistically and i know who i can and cant beat and with him its like " NO I WILL WIN I WILL WIN FROM THE ROLL I WILL WIN I AM TELLIN YOU I WILL WIN FROM THE ROLL " lol i guess thats the whole point of this post to see what u guys think becouse i am tired of talkin to him and tellin him that i would still win vs his stock srt4
