I met up with a couple of very cool supra guys and a 240sx turbo tonight and we had alot of fun on the highway. My evo did better than i thought against the supras from a roll ...even though i had to drive the $hit out of my car.... We were all impressed with my evo because she was pulling strong on the hwy ....They were even more impressed when they saw that i still had the stock turbo and a dyno flash tune. I did get my a$$ handed to me though... by a 10sec cyclone with about $30000 worth of parts .

Do you know what your buddies top speed is? I got 161 mph at only 7000 rpm what would 8500 rpm do?

Get a custom transfer case built with a taller gear ratio, like a 373. The TC dictates the Final gear ratio. The evo is VERY light compaired to a supra, you could get away with 80 LESS whp and still pull. The Gear ratio is short and track setup. Get like a 373 final ratio, and you will have the top end allowed. Evos have made over 1000WHP and 200+++ MPH, all you need is the gearing.
