man you will want that evo after a few months, my best friend who works for nissan bought a 350z and i bought an evo. i put 1,000 dollars into my car and he put almost 10,000 dollars into his 350z. now i will tell you this he would out handle me, but on the highway i would slowly pull him, he then realized that another 1,000 dollars into my evo and he would really be wishing for another 10,000 dollars for a turbo upgrade to keep up with the evo. so instead he sold the Z and bought an evo, the nissan's arent very mod friendly, to get real good power out of one you have to step up and get the turbo.

Yeah, I know, perhaps the Hayabusa is fast as hell but I have seen in Speed International Raceway(Tucson) a Suzuki GSX-R 600cc doing 14.1@110 and crappy times like that.

On top speed the Evo with a couple of mods can step toe to toe with a 600cc in top speed. Change cams, do a reflash and a couple of other things and you are face to face with the 750cc bikes on Top speed.

Have a look on the 1/4 mile registry, there is so many EVO breaking into the 11's and low 12's that break the 120mph barrier.

I still think that yes, the bikes are faster but not by that much overall.

acctually your right, my friend has around 400 hp evo and he ran a zx-6r on the highway one night and stayed right with it no problem.

I have to disagree.....your average performance car does the 1/4 in 14 seconds or so.....your average 1000cc streetbike does the 1/4 in 10 seconds flat. A full 4 seconds is an incredibly huge amount. 600cc bikes should average 12 seconds or under in the 1/4 mile. Cars only have a hope when mod them unmercifully......or you can just buy an $8k bike

Congrats on the 350Z Low J. I'm also thinking of selling the SRT-4 and getting an Evo. I have a dream commute through the East Bay hills and I think it would be the perfect match for AWD.

BTW...Haven't seen you in the SRT forums in a while. I've sorta lost interest over there too.

beautiful car Loj, it will look nice parked next to mine, will you have by this sat for the meet?

i think you made the right choice, even tho i would die to have an evo, even an RS, i wouldn't trade my oz for an rs just b/c i would have to hum all the songs i know and like the other guy said, after 30 minutes you would be bored with it.

still, i've known you for a little while and another thing, your tall as fawking hell, how the hell are you gonna fit in a god damn Z??!! i'm 6'3" and i think i would be uncomfortable.

(i still think you will end up with a evo at some point)

Tim just took me to pick up my Z.....it's beautiful......I'm in love. We rode up in the EVO though so the Z seems kinda slow now especially since I can't go over 4000 rpm's for the first 1200 miles

hey man, I aint mad at yah! the Z is a great car. I personally had one my self but when i went to the dealer the following week after I got my Z I test drove the evo and it felt so much better. I mean, the Z just felt a little to rough at high rpm's to me. But besides all this, the Z is a good car. ENJOY!

i should have let you drive there... we may have had to change the check so it would be made out to mitsubishi

i love the color on the Z though.. best color next in like is that burnt orange

Dont worry all its a good car just a heck of a deal dont know if i would have been able to choose between the two for the deal that they offered up on the Z
