So my mom calls me tonight all excited she tells me she bought a new car...

So I'm thinkin to myself she got the new 05 mustang cause thats what she has been talkin about non stop for the last 3 months. She was driving a plain 2000 mustang not even the GT but the little V6 with no power at all. She goes on to tell me she didn't like the 05 after driving it and decited to get an 04 Mach1

I'm like WTF your driving a car with over 300 HP. She's like yea its kinda faster than my last one the engine makes more noise too...

So yea if thats any indication about how my mother drives... (stepdad is a cop so she NEVER speeds or does anything "risky".

Yea I was just totally blown away she got that car couldn't believe it I'm still gettin over the shock. As much as I dont' like mustangs I do respect them for a good drifting car and they can be very quick in a straight line.

what exactly is a mach 1? sorry, i'm not too up to date with american cars. i read over 300 HP and mustang, which is scary as it is, haha.

Mach 1 is the step right below SVT cobra its got better looks than any mustang IMO with the hood and ground kit its got it has way more power than the GT not quite as much as the SVT and better suspention than the GT

Its still just a RWD car but with just over 300 hp and a super charged V8 its got a nice rumble and plenty of get up and go for a lady in her 50's lol

i remember some guy who had a friend who had a mach 1 and the guy kept wanting to set up a race, haha. kinda glad i didn't go for it now.

Its something like 310 hp with a 4.6 liter engine (SOHC or DOHC, I'm not sure). A 5-speed with a solid rear axle out back. Looks like the GT with a slightly different hood (the shaker hood, i.e the scoop is connected to the air filter/engine). I've heard they do a solid 13 sec quarter mile depending on the driver, and they have good potential tuning-wise.

yup thats about right basically they took the GT added a few upgrades ie hood, body kit etc I think the suspension is upgraded a bit too not sure if the brakes are or not I think it also has different wheels but yes great tuning potencial for very little it could be running high 11's

I was thinking it had a super charger on it as well not quite as big as the one on the SVT but I don't think its N/A car anymore but I will check

do not be fooled by those numbers wew did 2 passes and he was smoked badly both times, i believe the car is N/A but i am not sure if he said anything about it being supercharged

well 16 year olds aren't exactly known for their proffessional ability to drive either lol. But your right its not an Evo and wont hang in the corners but in a straight line it will go head to head with a stock evo and outcome will be driver based specially from a roll

Yeah, I've heard with pretty basic bolt-ons and some drag radials they are into the 12's.

i actually bogged on the first launch but caught him while still in first as he was getting into second and i ran away with it from there, second pass wasnt even fkn close, afterwards we went back to the arco where we meet and he wanted to sit in the evo lol. nice nice guy.
get this tho his friend was in a four dour green focus with white lightening stripes on the side and green tinted windows and a green 2fast2furious wing on the back , onh and he had gauges as well
