Forgive me if this is a repost...but have you guys seen the K1 Attack from Mid-Atlantic Concepts? I saw a little blurb about this last year in KitCar magazine, but the pictures were crummy. Now this ride is on the cover of a major import enthusiast magazine. I want one! Complete turnkey kit is slightly less than $40k

It seems you can use any transverse-mounted FWD format 4cyl engine. So if you had to keep it you could use the 4G63 from a FWD Eclipse... under the "options" tab, seems you can get a 220hp prelude engine setup for $4k installed...that's a damn good deal.

220hp in a 1850lb car = fast as hell

Well, thats what the article in KitCar mag said last year, but that isn't how they ended up going. The car is built from scratch and uses a 4cyl engine. It uses NOTHING from an accord.

This thing costs about the same as a Lotus Elise and I like it better!!!

actually, according to MidAtlantic Concepts, it is NOT. The early prototype had a lot of donor parts from the accords, but the final rendition is engineered from the ground up. zero accord parts.
