But I agree, it really comes down to what YOU want out of a car - whatever that car happens to be.
If you want a Summer car, or a weekend cruiser - by all means the RX-7 is going to turn heads, always give you something to do, and be a BLAST when it runs right.
If you want something a tad more pratical, AWESOME in the snow, and rock solid as far as reliability - The Evo is hands down the winner.
I think you'll be happy with either choice, but make sure you don't fool yourself about what it is you are actually buying.

My only ***** is that you have no expierence with EITHER car, have already stated your point (ok, it ended production in 2000, it's "old"), but continue to carry on.
I really don't want to go back and forth... but its just too damn fun to tear apart every comment you make.

Tough call... an RX-7 with $10,000 in the bank... or an Evo.

The car was imported into North America from late 1992-1995. However production on it (and importation to select other countries) didn't stop untill 2000, with the RX-7 "RZ" model.
That model came with: Bilstein Shocks, Recaro Seats, BBS (i believe) 17" Wheels, Nardi Steering Wheel, Stitched Red leather shift boot and e-brake handle, aluminum passenger foot rest and a number of additional styling "hues" which set it apart from the other FDs.
...but as you were saying... something about me not knowing what I was talking about?
