well..the eclipse would be like a smaller evo but i doubt the car would be anywhere near as balanced as the evo. the eclipse is an ok car, the evo is just beautiful because of its legacy..its an awd 4door that womps on competitors. the eclipse is like.. "meh". i can see that the drivetrain would probably be the only thing inspired..even then, the balancing of the car would not make this that great. no place for it on the track, probably meant for drag racing...

More Eclipse Info and Pick-Up Truck Rendering

The Eclipse concept will have a 268hp 3.8l V6 MIVEC engine supplemented with a 150kw electric motor... and it is 4-wheel drive!
The Dodge Dakota based pick-up truck looks... well...

)If this is the case, it is quite likely we may see a top-line 4G Eclipse with a 6G75 MIVEC in it. As with the 4G69 (2.4l I-4), the MIVEC should add more power along with the alrady superb torque.
Lets hope...

LOLOLOLOL, gotta love the ugly looking nasty pontiac rip off 'power bulges'. And then the 350z back end.........worst mix ever, back looks decent but the front with those Fugly power bulges destroy the car...

I hope they do something with that car cuz that last gen was the worst car ever.....I had one for a rental and it was worse than a Focus.......and the worst blind spots I've ever experienced. I'm with you guys......hoping for a return of the GS-X !!!!!
