No, there is MUCH more to the Type-R besides the engine.

My previous car was a black 2001 ITR, I saw get that. But beware, people will steal it in a heart beat. If you don't have a garage to keep the car in then get the RSX

I would get the ITR over the TYPE S and the resale of the ITR will always be better.
The ITR handles better but it depend on the kind of racing you do also.

Yes very much so, the K20 in the RSX is a more advanced power plant. You can definatly here and feel the v tec, but i still like the type-r

Is it true that the type R's vtec is more potent on its crossover point? People say its the most noticible switch over out of any of the B-series motors and even K series.

Exclamation

"it aint a tight car if it aint a type-r"

vTEC is no joke on the type-R. On a stock rsx-s you can't hear the i-vTEC cam change unless you have an intake, and still than it's not as agressive. Type-R is very very noticable. Ever driven a 5thgen prelude? It's like that!

driven both also, integra type R no doubt tha type s doesnt even compare.. i just love the scream of the engine when the vtec kicks in very fun to drive. i do like the interior of the type s its better i like the layout and features like the leather seats, sub and bose system.
b series engines have more potential then tha k series.
