yowza. Can tell it's a bit dated (steering wheel, 'hi-fi').. but driving like that.. timeless.

any idea what RUF model that was? early/mid 80's?.... i have an 89 model and the interior looks new compared to that one... fast none the less

The steering wheel is the same as my '87 widebody-I know they used the same wheel through '89, but not sure if they were used on the C2/4.

Shift boot looks old, like 70's-not sure if that was necessary due to a gearbox retrofit.

Did anyone count gears? It looked like first gear was bottom left and that second was up and to the right. This would put fifth gear where you would normally find fourth on a regular turbo. If so, wouldn't that be a RUF 5 speed? This design makes selecting first difficult to do by mistake. Early Euro 928's had the same config.

Badass ride. Porshe tried to make those cars push with understeer through the front tires to help the average driver avoid the sudden death oversteer that early 911's are famous for. Lucky for this guy that he has enough power to kick the back end out!
