IMO... if u want a truck get a Syclone or a Typhoon... they're already turbo'd but its easy to upgrade it

The best bang for the buck will be a 1st or 2nd gen AWD DSM or a Galant VR-4. Figure $3-8000 and the rest left for go-fast goodies.

Save a bit to replace all the rusty parts and rotten out 6 -15 y/o rubber bushings if you're buying 1g or 2g DSM. Great cars, sure...but unquestionably old as well.

No doubt most will be abused and ill-maintained. A '98 or '99 GSX, though, is only what, 6-7 years old. I have a '99 Dodge Ram with 95,000 hard miles and it is running great with little rust. Just need to be picky and wait until you find the perfect car. My buddy has a '99 GST with an FP 3052 for sale. If I had the money and wanted an FF car, this would be my choice.
