that's a great car..always loved it have u heard about street legal elises in 2004 or 2005? the guy i spoke to at lotus said the price should be about the same, maybe a little more, but this time it'll be street legal

The car is supposed to be here in U.S. Spring of 2004. People have tried to import the car here but can't. The car won't meet crash specs and emissions I would imagine.

Volkmann, the biggest set back is that it doesnt have a bumper i belive a car need a bumper for it to be street legal

the plymouth prowler has covered wheels, they have a top cover, which makes them legal.....and they are extremely ugly.....lotus elise has been in the US for awhile now, just under the name of the exige and elige... they have one in costa mesa right now, just withought the type R motor, and it was not imported.
