Let's hope it's not just a "styling exercise" and that it actually goes to market. First though, the automatic has got to go, and it doesn't need to be a ridiculous 58 inches tall -- that's taller than our EVOs.

I heard that the new Accent is going to use the new cross-platform engine that Dodge, Mitsu, and Hyundai/Kia are making. That is the same engine that is going to be in the new evo, neon replacement, Kia Rio,etc. Of course all in different forms 1.6L-2.4 or 2.5L and some turbo some not depending on the car.

I feel all funny inside. It's a Hyundai...and I...like it.
Unfortuntely, I also have a funny feeling that it will come to market as a 3200 lb., 190hp (from something like a 3.5L V6) that looks nothing like this concept. Car makers seem to be good at roally screwing up beautiful concept cars.
