The only thing I did not like about the car was that the superchager felt more like a passing gear. and it took to long to kick in. Seemed like a very well made car and was tight in the turns. At 100 mph locking down the brakes the car cut a hard left i didn't like that. overall I thought it was okay just a little to pricey for that money you could get a nice SRT-4.

The Coblat SS is not an SRT-4 killer...most chuckleheads I see driving them run 15's...and most seem pretty content with that. Go to the Cobalt SS forum and read what the kiddies are talking about. Apparently, they are as quick as an EVO on the freeway....LOL

The Cobalt is so/so................................
The Cobalt carries with it one heavy anchor driving down expectations: the fact that its platform underpins the Saturn Ion, one of the worst cars unleashed on the public in recent years. No matter what move you make with that car - accelerate, brake, turn, or even check your speed - its reaction makes you feel like you made a mistake. The Cobalt proves that these days, likening cars from the same family too closely can be a mistake as well.
Chevrolet's listed curb weight of 3,216 pounds would make the Cobalt the most slow-witted compact car out there Jesus!!!
My major gripe is the incomprehensibly wide turning circle. Don't try to do a quick U-ee on a normal width city street because you'll embarrass yourself and hold up traffic. I've driven five-ton trucks that didn't require much more road to turn on.
The car is ok, its nothing to write home about, pretty much everything mentioned is dead on. My friend bought one, its a nice car for the price, a lot better quality materials then the neon srt-4 thats for sure.
