2006 Cobalt SS Supercharged

New Cobalt SS coupe is a fat *** looking car. Just got done driving one, pulls real hard but not an evo or sti killer. They run real close with the srt-4, but for 24,000 no way. anyone else drove on or own one? If so how are they on aftermarket goodies?

i havent driven one, nor would i ever buy one, but..... it is nice to see that chevy has at least made an effort. it is a stand-up car, for a great deal, and the whole ecotec engine thing seems to (from what i have heard) respond well to mods, and there def. seems to be an aftermarket available. kudos chevy.

Buddy has one, I got to see it and ride in it last night. The Interior of the Car is badass, comes factory with recaros that hug more snug than ours. The Interior of that car is way better than WRX, SRT-4, Or RSX hell its even better than ours.

Driven it at HIN Cleveland.. I thought it sucked. When I took turns with it I slid right off the crappy cardboard seats and fell into the door, and it also felt like the rear end was just floating and sliding in the turns. Then the interior felt like the typical cavalier plastic. (yes, the econobox lancer's is 10x better). And, the power didn't fell any better than my brothers ralliart, seriously. The numbers may be higher, but the ralliart feels faster.

I really liked the Cobalt SS.....GM finally came out with a quick, afforable car. But for the money, I'd rather buy a Scion tC and throw on a Scionspeed turbo kit........13 sec 1/4 mile times for $5K sounds good to me.

I would NEVER by an american car, no matter how fast or cheap fast it is.

Nissan, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Honda ONLY.

It's nice to get a quick car that has a warranty. We can all turbo cheap cars, but when something goes wrong it's your problem.

I didn't get todrive his car but the I def. liked the interior. He didn't take any turns so I can't agreed or disagree with you on the handling.

But the ralliart comment is alittle odd see ing that I have driven and been in cars with a 20whp difference and while you couldn't tell the difference it was evident when the race began who was underpowered.
