If I had to pick one I'd prefer the Ferrari. Lamborghinis do nothing for me.
you just contradicted yourself lol

but on to topic...who cares, a supercar is a supercar -_-

I like the looks of the Lambo, but the racing heritage of the Ferraris is worth much more IMO.

No I didn't. I said I wouldn't pick either (realistically I would never buy either no matter how much money I had), but if I HAD to (implying necessity) make a decision I would choose the F430. I didn't think it would be that difficult to understand.

I really don't think I would. I'm honestly not impressed by the vast majority of exotics, and I can't think of a single car I'd want to buy over $100,000. In fact, I can't think of anything over about $60,000. If I wanted to dream big I'd do it now, right? Well...I'd rather drive a Le Car with $100 sunk into it than a Ferrari or Lamborghini.

you guys are missing the point...

you can buy a evo or sti and mod the hell out of it, but when you drive it home and park it in your garage, it's still a mistu and/or a subaru... when you drive your DB9 all day and park it, it's an Aston Martin.. a car that has the highest level of performance at that particular price and/or level of exotictry (is that a word?!?!? )

if i was on a lower budget and had to spend less than 100k, it'd be the new z06... it can out perform cars at the sub 200k level...

EXACTLY. You can have your 40-yr old fat wife dress up like Britney Spears in a school-girl uniform, but it's not the same as cruising by the local high school and picking up the real thing (18-yrs old, of course ).

Both are nice cars, but I'd spend my money on either a Ferrari 275 GTB/4, Lamborghini Muira SV, or Maserati Ghibli SS instead. You won't be mistaken for a poseur driving any one of those Italian exotics.

I'm not missing the point. I gave my answer. I just don't care if someone looks at my car and says it's still a Mitsubishi or a Subaru. I'd rather have a Z06 than either of those cars, and I'm not even a huge fan of vettes.

If being seen in an expensive car is important to you then so be it. It's not important to me.

I'd go with the F430 because I look the look better than the Gallardo. The performance and price differences are trivial.
