never thought i'd see the day a subaru would impress me so much.

The AMS Evo is amazing. I think with a shot of Nitrous at the launch it will take off even better and should break into the 8's with what it traps right now!

 

The Subies are still a ways away, but I think it is just a matter of time before the EVO's are trying to catch them. 2.65+ liters is hard to beat and that time is faster than any EVO VIII with a GT35R. I say 2-3 years and Subies will be pretty bad!

 

One thing which hasn't been mentioned about Big Valley STI is that the car has a full interior with a/c, power windows, doors, etc. and weighs 3,500lbs w/ driver.

The car was also having issues with the old spark plugs they were using on the 9.67 second run and they called it quits after the first run. New plugs were put in yesterday and they should be back for more this weekend!

It's definitely nice seeing Evo's and STI's running sub 10's! That'll shut up those big block fanbois!
