We had some spark plugs problems but it was already fix. So hopefully we go to the track again soon this next week (may be next wednesday).

I heard that as well - 4 distinct 'sputters' when they were in 4th gear.

Glad BV is going back for more. It'll be amazing to see just how fast this full interior STI can go!

we are refering to the USDM sti not the 2 liter version you get over thier. and if you wanna get technical the rigoli brothers wrx wagon in Australia runs 8's.
booyaa. but seriously its about time that we start actually having a subie in the states that can compete with the EVO's.

why do you say that?

the quickest stock chassis awd subaru is already quicker than any stock chassis awd evo.

the quickest "full" interior awd subaru is also quicker than the quickest "full" interior awd evo.

honestly, both cars are pretty close right now in 1/4 mile times.

Maybe the fastest shop cars or people with unlimited funds. But average Joes with limited funds the Sti is still behind. Can't put 500 whp on USDM 2.5 and expect it to survive very long.

really? then what pray tell qualifies as "unlimited funds?"

is putting $30K into a car considered unlimited funds? $40K? $50K? $100K?

if you wanna go fast, you're going to break parts and spend money. it's inevitable.

and btw, there's plenty of 500 whp usdm STIs running strong.

Don't kid yourself. Where do they run and how long do they run. All the ones I hear of making big power never get a chance to put it down at the track. I wonder why?
