Let not your hearts be troubled the S204 is NOT i repeat NOT coming to the US. Most likely never. THat is offcial . Subaru will not bring it here for a wide number of reasons. Cost and engine emissions being one of them.They already are doing well with the current Sti and aprt from the ESX version of the Sti there will be no S204. But that does not mean that they wont release a Spec - C!!!

Very cool. Sorta like a 22B junior. I'm really loving what's going on between the STi and Evo camps right now. Just look what has happened in the last 5 years in the US alone...WRX, Evo, STi...and each successive release slams more performance into the package. I think history will look back fondly on this era in the same way we look at the muscle car era nowadays.

they only make 555 units i have seen the best motoring video that is call evo 9 the next evolution, go buy this video and you'll see! Also the have an EVO9 GT that is most likly japan only ATTORI does the compare between the spec c and thei car and is no that much difrence,subaru just keeps trying to copy mitsu.

It's odd that they've chosen to release it this early. The S201, 202 and 203 were all realeased right at the end of a particular shape. And they made only 555 of the previous three models, while they are going to make 600 of the 204.
The difference between the 203 and the 204 are:
1)Torque split (more front biased as with the 06 models)
2)Slightly more toruqe (like 2%)
3)"Performance dampers" which aren't anythin to do with coilovers. They're actually like reinforcing bars on the chassis but withe a damping property. I suppose that it behaves like a stiff pipe at high freq and comliant at low freq (over bumps etc).
Anyway, I still think mine looks better!!!
