dude, I traded my STI for an EVO. All it took was the test drive. The minute I took the on-ramp onto the highway I knew that I had bought the wrong car. I drove home with the EVO that afternoon.

You mean then an Evo For some reason the Evo makes my premium go up 20 dollars and the Sti puts it down 250 dollars

Why didnt you like your Sti they are just as fast if not faster on the freeway because of the close ratio 6-speed and all that torque?

It has little to none as far as turbo lag goes. The power band is linear but pulls so hard it almost gives you a headache. The Evo has no power until about 3,200 rpms when it shoot off like a rocket until about 6,500 rpm's when the turbo starts to taper off. Both amazing cars.

You've had 2 Evo's, screw it time for a change. I like the new steel gray, looks clean. You said you change cars alot. If you end up missing your Evo make the switch again to a IX. I had 2 WRX's 2002 & 2005, 04 STi...after the R32 it was time for another STi, but i went with the RS cause i wanted to taste the EVO. For me out of the box i wanted to mod the STi suspension...the Evo on the other hand just needs a few small things.

I miss my STi sometimes, but at heart im just a sucker for the EJ engines. I like they engine drivetrain layout on subarus better. If the STi would get a quicker steering rack and offer the Spec-C I would get rid of the RS.

I also had 2 wrx's then went to a 2004 Evo VIII then to a 01 integra Gs-r back to a 2005 Evo RS then now a 2000 Integra Type R and want an Sti now or Evo 9 but leaning toward the Sti. The 05 Sti has alot better suspension then the 04's.

Its funny because before I got my EVO I was checking into both. Insurance on the STI was considerably more than on the EVO. Also not for nothing but the STI is ugly.

You're asking on the wrong forum. Don't come here asking us to help you decide between an 05 and 06 STi. That's just dumb...

Not to mention leasing is dumb, too, and is a very poor reason for deciding on an STi instead of an Evo. Dumb, I tell ya...
