This link includes a good photo and a small video clip. There are other photos out there if you care to look.
Lutz wants to green-light it for 2009. It's supposed to be 4 inches shorter than the original Camaro, and is yet another example of the retro design trend.
(i like the way older cars look, personally)
The biggest news is that they are planning to offer both a 400 hp LS2 version AND they want to sell a V8 model for 20,000 dollars. Perhaps the 5.3 liter engine from the Tahoe? You should also expect a V6 version for insurance and fuel mileage reasons.
I kinda like it.

the rear end looks better than the front, imo.

ahhhhh,,,,,,, I was really hoping for more. The front end needs to be flush and not pointy.
Loving this retro to new age design thing going on.
But they need to go with a more true body look of some of these muscle cars.
Like a first yr GTO,,,,, and a first year Charger....... these two didnt come close to hitting it out of the park.
The Challenger is the closest attemp to date.
I think if they stick with the exact same sheet metal of these cars,,,, and then go nuts on everything else bring them up to date performance wise....... The whole OLD to NEW design thing they have going on WILL WORK MUCH BETTER,,,,,,,
well for me anyways.

i'm not particularly sold on the details of this design, but I'm SO happy with the proportions. This and the Charger have that 'long hood' look and the muscular haunches. I love it. I think the Challenger is the best looking overall, VERY closely followed by the Mustang with the Charger and the Camaro tied for last, but even those two look pretty good to me.
