1987 Trans Am GTA
I was just curious of what you guys think I could get for my TA. My uncle dumped 15K into just the parts for the car. He was building it for his son, but then ended up buying him a 2000 TA.
The car was pretty much completely rebuilt from the ground up. I don't know if the car was originally a gta or ws6, but it has every nut and bolt of a gta and ws6 now. I have almost 15k in reciepts for just the parts and 75% was worked on by a pontiac dealership. My computer is messed up right now so I can't upload pics. It's red with gold wheels and has a brand new 350 motor.
Just guessing what do you guys think I could get for it, maybe a range or somthing. I got the car for VERY cheap "family discount". I will load some pics if I can, but it basically looks like a new TA

post up on thirdgen.org thats your best bet, unless you find an enthusiast, like srt4 guy said you prob wont get more then 10k for it since the car is almost 20 years old. Just wondering but has it been dynoed?

Sorry to say it's worth 6-8K at best. Its a nice car but the 80's are the worst for resale. The only two cars from the 80's that get big bucks are the 1989 Turbo Trans Am and the 1986/87 Buick Grand National.
