Hmmm...if they made an i-vtec turboed motor for the rsx...
They have actually been producing turbo cars since the 1980s. 660cc turbo Kei cars.

Is that RDX using a K-series engine?

Interesting. I'm sure its already on Car & Driver's 10 Best list and is a frontrunner for Motor Trend COTY and at the top of JD Power IQS survey, even though it isn't out yet.

Hmmm...I didn't know that, that statement was from a website I copy and pasted, might want to inform them.

The Caliber SRT-4 will be AWD. It's the same platform the Evo X will be on and it will probably cost more for them to modify it into a FWD. It has the same exact engine as the previous SRT-4 does just bumped up in power. I think it probably comes with the mopar Stage 3 turbo from the factory, but not sure. When I had my SRT the stocker was out of breath by the 300hp range.

This post will probably prove useless, but here goes:

This link is from Autoweek.com's Chicago show-

http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dl...REE/302080001/

They state that the car is FWD. Unless Dodge has got a trick up it's sleeve (and they might), AWD is not mentioned.

On the SRT site I'm pretty sure it said the SRT8 Jeep will pull over 1G on the skid pad so not so sure about it rolling

I think they may be up to something ... if it was FWD they should have it posted on the SRT site .... also Im suprised they dont have an specs posted about the brakes.

Offically it's only FWD, it' is also the platform that will be used for the Outlander(or maybe it's Endeavor), Evo X, and next PT Cruiser. The engine is the all aluminum world engine developed by Mitsu, Hyundai and Dodge and will also be used in the Evo X. So the Evo X should have in excess of 300hp if Dodge got 300 out of it. Its also more on the scale of a Vibe or Matrix I think at least in height. Still a high center of gravity will mean poor handling.

Yes, but its the FWD version. The GS platform is very versatile. It can support small to midsized cars. It will be under the next Galant and whatever replaces the Sebring and Stratus sedans.

No. The Dodge 4 cylinder A-series has been retired. The Mitsubishi 4GXX series is soon to follow.

Maybe, and wrong. Speculation has it that it will be awd, you may be right on that one though. It IS the same exact 2.4L turbo, no 4gxx. The only difference is that is has dual VVT (variable valve timing). They actually HAVE pics of the engine bay, so if you want to keep arguing it's a different engine than the one I OWN than please do so.
