Forced induction RSX Type S/2006 Civic Si
What do you EVO guys think about Turbo or Supercharged RSX's and the new Civic Si, the K20 motor gone forced induction. Are they fast or still kinda, eh... on the weak side. There was a heated discussion about this among some cocky Honda/Acura people.

What do you mean? They are both still factory N/A. If your talking about the aftermarket then who cares it all depends on your goals and how good your shop and tuner are. Both are great N/A but Id take the new Si. Has an LSD and is the best civic yet.

A turbo K20 will easily put down 300 to the front wheels, and will have way better throttle response and top end than a stock evo... so from a ricer roll.. no theyre not weak.
edit: hopefully i get some mods before i get spanked by one

So what is neccessary to do it right? and is it worth it? I'd think traction would be a huge problem... what kind of money does it take, straight up to have a bone stock RSX or Si with the K20 and have it "done right"... $5,000 total?

But with 3,500 you can almost get the Stage 2 vishnu kit...
which would eat up a supercharged k20...
