I chose the 9 MR when I had to pick between evo /IS350 / 3 series
the IS's seating is too werid for me , the middle storage is tall , and rear windows is un naturally slopping up and small ... , plus the rear seat pass thru really annoys me ...

I just checked out the IS250 AWD...What a pathetic engine.
-2.5-liter V6, four cam, four valves per cylinder, with continuously Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) on intake and exhaust valves
-204 hp [1] @ 6,400, 185 lb-ft torque [1] @ 4,800 rpm
All for the low low price of 42 grand fully loaded...

At the Taste of Lexus event last fall (Belmont Park NY), they let us drive the new IS350 vs BMW330. Despite the advertised 306hp it did not feel much more powerful than the 330. Ended up going for the 330xi(for the wife). BTW there was always a longer line of people waiting to drive the Bimmer than the Lexus. Lexus must have been pissed. Front looks ok, but cant get over the Corrola- like rear end though.
