Dyno results...

OK, I went to the dyno (Dynodynamics) today even though the clutch is questionable... The car is not tuned, but still it gained and incredible 52% whp increase from before the JRSC . There is definite room for improvement. The AF ratios are too lean until around 3500 rpm at 8 psi and too fat at 5300 rpm where the boost drops off for some reason... I think we can play with the static timing a little bit and pull it under boost as well as evening out the fuel curve. With a SAFC2, there might actually be another 5~15 whp to be had...

Oh yeah, at under 2200 lbs this puppy has a very nice power to weight ratio! I'm actiually better than a stock WRX ... Too bad I only have one wheel drive

OK, got a new clutch in there yesterday. We went with a 1.8 flywheel and Exedy stage 1. It's avery nice little clutch. It drives almost like stock, not problems at all with off-on action. Today I got a decnt chirp in second gear .... Oh yeah, changed the look as well. I've put some chrome, vintage type side mirrors there. Had to make some adapter plates, good thing I can get my hands on aluminum, sand paper, drill, tap and a polishing drill adapter...
