outside of honda and toyota i don't think i know of a car more reliable then a bmw m3. I have buddies with some that have over 200k on them and they still give me a run for my money. Also the 50/50 weight distrubution and rear wheel drive make it a lot more fun then the evo. this is coming from someone that is obessed about evo's and would own one if i didn't have my porsche (can't get my self it sell it even though its got 101,000 on the clock.) but when i do sell im looking at three cars . EVO, e36 bmw m3, or a r33 skyline but the last one is more of a dream then anything. so im kind of in the same boat right now. the only reason i want the evo is all ive owned my whole life is used cars. so it would be nice to get a brand new car. but the m3 damn i don't know. im also think of getting the new bmw m coupe thats comeing out here's a pic

Im not looking into new M3's ...not my taste...dunno why but the older models just look sexier to me

However, i've heard that people that have had the Twin screw S/C have had amazing gains and down low torque...and find it amazing at the track which is waht im aiming for.

Can't wait

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that my driveshaft will go boom! So I will be upgrading that to a carbon drive shaft from this one company that specializes in that

im with you on the old style of bmw m3s im not a fan of the e46 and the spy shots of the new 400hp on don't get me either. i was also thinking of going completly back and getting and e30 m3 and making it crazy quick but that would be a lot of $$$$$

I love the E46 and the E30 M3s. For whatever reason, I hate the US E36 M3s.

I <3 E30's modified right

I got a family member with an E46 really nice

Im getting an e36 because it reminds me of a "calmer" version of the M3 so to speak. Doesn't look as aggressive as the E46 but looks more modern than the E30

It was on a forum but jesus it was amazing with the CSL rims with a nice drop. It was a silver on black I believe.

E46's are nice. Would I buy one over an E36...probably not. But I still admire a good well done E46.

Plus my uncles E46 is dropped on some HRE 545 with some ebiach sway bars, bushings etc...wow its amazing its an imola red on red and i'll get some pics of it
