I saw a Evo IX Wagon today

Keep in mind, guys, that Mitsubishi's North American R&D center is in Ann Arbor, MI (near Detroit) so he probably DID see an Evo IX wagon. The new Lancer/Ralliart body has been spotted around the area, as well, in body camo (same ones as the spy shots). Also, there's no way you could confuse an Evo wagon for a Ralliart wagon unless you only saw it from the back. The front ends are nowhere near similar, even with a body kit.

It's always funny to me when people act like just because a car isn't produced or sold in the US, it can't possibly exist in the US, and if someone sees one, it was just an illusion or some kit or conversion
Back on topic: It's cool you saw one. Even though it's ugly, it's quite a rare sight in the US.

From what read about this car in one the tuner mags, this wagon although heavier was aerodynamically better than the sedans. It also had more of its weight over the rear tires.
