I am not surprise, many turbo cars are always underrated. This 335I turbo will be a total sucess, just watch. It would be not much long until they will come out with an aftermarket single turbo like the Supras. The downside is the weight though, 3580lbs?

It is about time BMW put turbos on their cars, when is Honda going to wake up and do the same? Great find by the way.

yea its a bit heavy so the handling wont be too impressive...it's the only thing preventing it from matching the e46 m3's all around performance IMHO.

i personally think the 335i looks gorgeous as well.

btw Honda just came out with its turbo engine too....the new Acura RDX.

the 335i with its small twin turbo's and aluminum block seem to be obstacles toward big power attainments....but we'll never know until the car actually comes out and tuners start to mess with it.

Hell yeah.

I'm going to seriously consider getting this car when it comes out.

I used to have a supercharged M3 that was a great car. I was thinking of picking up another M3 and putting a turbo in it. ICS, a performance shop, up north has been building 700hp M3's at a pretty good price point.

This car may make me get back into a BMW.

Yup...Honda's coming out with the RDX sporting a 2.3L K23 motor, factory turbocharged. Wont be long till the K23 goes into a little EG .

^that idea sounds wonderful.

it'd be cool if the successor to the s2k becomes a turbo roadster too IMO. we can all dream.

Yeah it is becoming more and more common place for cars to be under rated in power, I don't know why but this seems to be the case. Some examples of this are-

Mitsubishi Evolution IX
Mitsubishi Eclipse GT
MazdaSpeed 6
Chevrolet Cobalt SS
Lexus IS350
Dodge Neon SRT-4
and etc.

So this doesn't surprise me one bit
