There are 2 of us Evo's in the 11's, and 2 in the 12's. So far Ive only seen 2 STI's even break into the 12's, most are running high 13's and 14's. Have yet to have a WRX here break into the 13's.

I only seen 2 STI to run 10 and they where both I believe Automatic. The engine was, well lets just put it this way; not a Subaru. I had Nitros and Slicks. The car is not even close to be driven on the streets. It was all gutted. Anyways I think it's a waste of time to compare the Sti with Evo. It would be more fair to comapre the Sti to Srt-4.
Here is another cold fact. Buschur has GT35R Turbo kits for $3,200 and will get an Evo into 10s on put gas almost. Not what about AMS and all the rest....... I think that makes the point.
HMM HMM HMMMM Yeaaa Yeaaa Yeaaa!!!!! I have Exercise the Demon, This Froum is clear........ Alrighty then... Bye Bye....
Ohhh Also
STI will have a full interior car running 10.0 without Nitro and street tires when my Grandmother will be a Virgin.....

I live in Charleston, SC and there are a lot more STi's here. I know of one that is fully built that is probably in the high 10's but he hasn't been to the track to prove it. Other then the 1 STi out of around 11 (that I know of), he is the only person that might be in the 10's around here. There are 2 Evo's that are in the 10's.

In my personal experience and what I've seen/ heard. There are definitely more 10 second evo's than STi's.
My reasoning.... All the subaru peeps are soo concerned about spool up time/lag that they never get a big enough turbo to run 10's. (I live in subaru country Portland Oregon!!! GP Moto, Perrin, PDX Tuning, Rallitek, etc)

I'd hate to tell you, but the Evo has closer ties to an SRT-4 than an STi does. Didn't Chrysler have a thing goin' on with Mitsubishi? Hmmmmm.
And about STis running 10s with a full interior....I'm sure there are quite a few, aside from the ones that you normally hear about at the track, like the Big Valley car.
You haven't exercised any demons. You have simply pooped out out of your mouth with ignorant uninformed statements.

Chrysler and Mitsubishi HAD something going on long ago. They share the new world 2.4L engine...but they also have that with Hyundai. The SRT-4 came from their work with the mexican built 2.4L turbo stratus'...commonly used for Corrupt mexican policia. The turbo is a mitsu unit...essentially a reverse rotating 16g.
srt-4 shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as STI/EVO ...and Im partial to neons :P

From what I have heard and read through the forums and just talking to people, there seem to be more EVO's in the 10's than STI's. In fact that per square miles Puerto Rico might have the most STI's running in the 10 sec range. There is Big Valley's STI, his mechanic has a black STI running in the 10's, another of the BV crew memebers has a wrx running in the 10's and there are probably three more STI's in Puerto Rico running in the 10's, and for a little tiny island 100 miles by 35 miles wide that is a lot!!! But beside those STI's I don not know many more that are in the 10's. Like one guy pointed out, all you have to look at is at last years Evo vs. STI shootout, STI first place, EVO's the rest!!!
