fastest sti 1/4 mile time

i know that the fastest evo 1/4 mile time is a 8.95 but i was talking to my friend who is obsessed with subarus and he said that there was an sti out there that can run like high 6 second quarter mile times which i think is bs because the fastest awd 1/4 time was like 7.5 in a skyline but he said that this was a rwd sti, for the record though what is the fastest 1/4 time a sti has ever set and which shops car is it?

Ask your friend if a unicorn was driving the STI. I think the fastest evo record holder is currently burshur with i think a 8.75. I have seen a STI run 12.1 (that is the fastest i have seen). I think there is a low 9 second WRX on streetfire

That car's pretty sick. I read an article a while back on the BV STi, and if I recall correctly, that car is also street driven and pretty reliable.

Whatever the case, that's one sick car. I'd be sh*tting my pants in a car that's running 9s. Hell, I rode in my cousin's 454ci '69 Camaro that's belting out 10.30s and that thing scared me silly.....

i like what they say on the site " The competitors staged-up at Atco Raceway and the results speak for themselves:

Big Valley’s Subaru (Video) - 9.50 @ 150.68mph

DynoFlash’s EVO – 12.4 @ 147mph "

like thats the best an evo can do...

BV has a great car, but I don't know of a STI that is still AWD and not tubular chassis that is faster than that. Yes, ESX has a 7.75s EJ powered drag car, but that just isn't what we're talking about.
