Hi, i've got a mitsubishi carisma 1.8 GDI and i'm looking for an upgrade, the GDI technologoy works really well with a torbo and i'm trying to find somewhere that can sell me a 4G93 GDI turbo. i dont think mitsubishi have released any cars in the UK with the 4G93T so i'm having to look elsewhere so does anyone know of any engine importers/exporters who might be able to ship to ir import to the UK?

i also dont know which revision of the 4G63 GDI the turbo is, my carisma uses the very first edition with a fule return system and mechanical throttle, the secongs version which is still called the 4G93 has an electronic throttle control system with a returnless fule line. if possible i do not want to have to change to a returnless system as i've just done it with my m8s car and it's a pain! i'm loking for a direct swap engine so i dont have to change;

transaxle
fule pump
fule lines
wiring harnace
ECM

does anyone have any info on this? i do know there's a lancer that uses the 1.8GDI turbo engine but i have no idea what type uf fule system it uses.

Good luck finding that motor. That thing is extremely hard to find unless your an Aussie. I don't understand why you shouldn't be able to find one in the UK. I would love to slap one of those in a 4g-5g Mirage. Mini 4G63 would look sweet in it.
