What kind of rigidity does that front subframe have as far as road racing is concerned? Or is this strictly a drag racing application. I may be interested if the tag goes down in half. PM or email or call/text me. 6104062399 This is for a AWD car i presume, and works with a manual rack and all?

Drag use (track) only. AWD and works with a manual or power steering rack (all lines and the pump have to be removed).

Best regards

Could you offer some insight to why this works only with drag racing applications? Is it strength, or reinforcement, or lack thereof? And could you maybe tell me what would be needed to make this better for road racing? Thanks

It was not designed for extreme side loads according to the fabricator that designed it. Not to say it would not hold up...it just was not designed for that. I know there is a customer from Jamaica that was going to use/adapt it for road racing but I never heard back from him on the results.

No idea what would need to be done to make it handle side loads better.

Workmanship looks excellent. Any chance of making a front crossmember for a 2G?
One thing, the rear diff is a Ford 8.8". Looks like a LMF big diff with 3.25" axle tubes as opposed to the standard Mustang 8.8" housings with 3" axle tubes. That will be plenty strong enough for whatever you could throw at it.
Ford 9" housings have 3rd members not rear diff covers.

no chance on the 2G. the demand for the 1G has been way to slow to look at doing something else. i may do my EVO here before long though but that will be a one off thing.

yes, i am surprised no one else caught that. thanks for the correction..

i am considering selling the car for what i have into it. i just never have the time to do anything further on it. PM me if anyone is interested.
