If I lived in Trinidad I would definitely get the BMW. Here in DC I have the regular (non sport) HSE and I love it. It really saved my *** in the snow...

... not made by ford though. Ford also owns volvo and mazda, both respectable and great car companies.

wow..alot of crap going wrong with the range rovers..
now it makes my decision even harder....

i had narrowed it down to these two...the SUV is good for trinidad....cause we have alot of floods and the worse roads you have ever seen!
but I like the 6 series as well...black on black would look sweet!

Well, since I work at a Land Rover and BMW dealer..... I'd definately choose the BMW. Unless, of course, you have an alternate ride to drive when the Rover is in the shop every other week..... yes, even the new ones are in the shop all the time-
Kodiak has it right: Rover=Ford and Ford is REALLY dropping the hammer on warrantable repairs now-a-days. It's not good for Rover future.
If you want a SUV type of vehicle buy a LEXUS!!!! FTW !!! they never break.

Than you should get the SUV. It seems to be the most practical choice.
