I finally got mine back on the street this week. I have a lot of tuning to do before I can turn up the boost, but 22 psi on pump gas is enough to destroy my Evo.
This is a 35R in my 90 GSX with a built engine that I assembled myself. The car has a TRE tranny, some big *** 1250cc FIC injectors and DSMlink. I also have a meth kit going on so I can run man boost. For suspension stuff I have JIC coilovers, a rear swaybar and welded trailing arm endlinks. I have a set of hyperblack Rota Boost going on as soon as I can find someone to mount the tires.

Here is a picture of my first car. Man I loved this thing. I bought it in 2001 for $3000. It was stock except for a boost gauge, K&N and a Hallman manual boost controller. Eventually it went on to have FMIC, VPC, 660s, Big 16G, yada. So much fun with it! Sold it when I was 20.

Please disregard the S14 with the bootilicious wheels,it was a car I took in trade for work. I swapped a stock drivetrain in it and did all the bodywork before sending it out for paint. Interior was trashed, theft damage inside, etc.
The DSM had a completely stock longblock with 120k miles on it. I was told it would break down basically every day. I drove this car daily, making a 60 mile commute,in summer it would be 90 and Id be running the AC,going uphill much of the way to school for 30 miles one way.
It had SSRs,245s all the way round,Teins,RRE swaybar,Evo III 16G and manifold,3" TB,RRE clutch,660s,an SAFC. The car was a basketcase when I bought it,the guy was a stoner that later admitted to "rallying" the car in the desert, jumping it and running it up on the mountain roads, which probably explain the 3 of 4 bent wheels. I took every fast part off the car, wheels, etc and sold it for 5200. Every single switch and function on the car worked when I got it,and worked when I sold it. I loved that car. My Evo 8 was just about the only thing that was worth getting rid of it. It never once left me stranded.

This is my '98 which is about to receive a FFWD 2g/1g hybrid engine, TRE trans with Quaife and the usual supporting goodies with an EvoIII turbo. I used to have a white '91 1Ga. I would love to get another 1g someday and/or maybe a Evo Zero GVR-4.
