I have every single receipt for all services performed on the car. I just had plugs replaced, tires rotated, balanced, oil change, and inspection done. Rotors were turned because they got warped so now its perfect again.

what kind of car are you going for? a new-age beast or a classic fixer upper?? personally, if i had that type of money, i'd get a ae86 and make it a project to fix to showroom condition, and then some ..other than that, maybe a 94 rx7 twin turbo, rebuild the engine(bigger turbo), maybe a used s2k(if you can find one for that cheap), a wrx would be in that list, and some other good cars. i would definately look into the older cars as project though. buy a used 240sx, bad motor and pristine body, get a sr20det in there..better yet, get a datsun 510 with a sr20det there's a world of car out there. you just gotta know what to look for. an mr2 would also be nice

well. i was thinking i could get an eclipse 2g gsx/gst and put a few mods on it. or the same to a celica gts. possibly even a wrx. im not sure though. im really open to suggestions and comments as to what you guys think. also, what exactly are the vishnu mods on a wrx?

For 20k Id say get an ITR which ever year, doesnt matter they are all very nice. Will never run into problems, and is such a car waiting to be worked on. Ask incognito and myself who has had a Type R and all i can say is I miss the darn thing!

My limit on a new car is 20k...
If you're capped at $20k and don't want an SRT4, the only 2 cars I can think of are the Cooper S (with minimal options) or a Hyundai Tiburon GT. The base RSX is over $20k and not all that great, the WRX is in the $25k range. The MazdaSpeed Protege is a hair over $20k and might be worth looking at if you need a back seat.

Buy a used Audi A4 1.8 Turbo Quattro.
This car has a ton of potential!
Do yourself a favor and don't buy front wheel drive.
You can tune a front wheel drive car, but why?
That is like putting whipped cream on a **** pie.
My 2 cents

psssh, find a nice body shaped '93 mr2 N/A for like 7k. Swap in a gen3 3s-gte engine for 4k. Turboback exhaust 1k, WI for 500, TMIC (trunk mounted) for 1k, open air intake 100, mbc 50, s-afc controller for 400. With that setup, u can run 20 psi and run 12's for about 15k.
